The Ice Cream Shop Garden

Adria, the owner and founder behind Seattle's only made-from-scratch organic ice cream, wanted to extend her commitment to sustainability beyond sourcing ingredients from local farms. We worked with Adria to execute her vision of creating a food-producing garden right outside her shop's front door by creating a planting plan that yeilds ingredients such as herbs and edible flowers for her deserts, while also functioning as a comfortable and inspiring place to sit and enjoy a handmade scoop of ice cream. We love working in this garden because it is located in the heart of the bustling Ballard neighborhood and folks walking by almost always stop to chat about what happening in the garden!
Parfait proudly makes all of their delicious ice cream, sorbet, cones, brownies, butter toffee, peanut butter cups, and sauces completely from scratch. They offer their own elegant versions of classic ice cream flavors, with a variety of fruit and specialty flavors rotated through the menu according to the season and inspiration.
